About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing our warehouse operations across multiple retail channels. Strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of warehouse processes is crucial in this role. This is a key position in ensuring efficient logistics, materials handling, and team management within a fast-paced environment. Overall, the Warehouse Supervisor will provide outstanding levels of service, uphold our organisational values, and deliver effective and timely service levels. This is a busy hands-on role where there is a need to be highly proficient in the use of IT systems to enable efficient working with various databases and IT platforms daily.
Primary responsibilities include
Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, across two locations.
Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing support to enhance performance and productivity.
Oversee shipping goods out and receiving goods in processes, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Liaising with suppliers to prepare and process purchase orders, report delivery issues, organise deliveries and collections
Coordinate logistics activities, including inventory management, stock control, and materials handling.
Pick, pack and prepare merchandise and equipment for retail events.
Coordinate unloading and loading vehicles.
Utilise vehicle fleet to transport merchandise and equipment between storage facilities
About you
We need you to have a full UK driving licence as you will be required to drive our vans occasionally to move stock to and from our other storage facility at Optimus Point, Glenfield. Previous line management is highly desirable as you will be leading and motivating a small but growing team of Warehouse Coordinators. This role involves turning around high volumes of online orders with accuracy so you will need to be highly proficient in working with relevant inventory management systems or databases to manage stock and and orders. Previous warehouse experience is essential for this role.
