Warehouse Operative

At Barnardo's, every role plays an important part in changing the lives of children and young people across the UK. As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be at the heart of our Retail and Trading operation, helping to ensure that donated stock reaches customers efficiently and safely. Every order you pick, pack and dispatch helps generate vital income that supports Barnardo's life-changing services.

Working within our Ecommerce and Retail team, you will accurately pick customer orders, securely package items for delivery across the UK and worldwide, and help maintain an organised, safe and efficient warehouse environment. You'll support stock movement, stocktaking activities, and high standards of housekeeping while ensuring all orders are processed to quality standards and within agreed deadlines.

We're looking for a reliable, organised and self-motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team. Whether you already have warehouse experience or are looking to develop your skills in a new environment, you'll be committed to delivering excellent standards, working towards targets, and contributing positively to a supportive team culture.

The role involves regular manual handling and requires a practical approach, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to health and safety. You'll also be comfortable using IT systems and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

It will be a requirement to be trained on a PPT

In return, you'll join a values-driven organisation where your contribution has a direct impact on helping children, young people and families build a better future. We welcome applications from individuals who share our commitment to teamwork, inclusion, personal growth and striving for excellence.
