Waking Night Support Worker
Location: Northampton
Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking a passionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our incredible team in Northampton.
As a Support Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You’ll be supporting a diverse group of individuals, each with their own unique abilities, needs, and goals.
Working waking nights, you’ll provide essential overnight support, ensuring individuals feel safe, comfortable, and supported. From assisting with personal care and night-time routines to offering reassurance and emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their wellbeing.

A genuine passion for supporting others

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships

Availability to work waking night shifts (9pm–7am), including weekends and bank holidays

A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude toward individuals with learning disabilities

A full UK driving licence is essential
