Do you believe everyone deserves to live life to the full? So do we.

At Sense, we don't just provide care; we champion independence. We're looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our supported living service in the heart of Malone on a 6-month fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week at £13 per hour plus allowance.

You'll be joining an established, close-knit team supporting six incredible individuals; including one who was recently named Sense Person of the Year.

No experience? No problem. We don't hire based on a CV, we hire based on your values. If you're caring, calm, and passionate about making a difference, we'll provide all the expert training you need to feel confident in the role.

Who we're looking for

  • Positive, with a can-do attitude
  • Caring, empathetic, and passionate about enhancing other people's lives
  • Available to work alternate weekends, with flexibility to support overtime during annual leave
  • Willing to attend training as needed

Your Impact

Nights are quieter, but no less important. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll be an alert, reassuring presence while the people we support sleep; ready to respond if needed and ensuring everyone feels safe through the night. This might include:

  • Overnight support:Responding to residents' needs during the night, whether that's reassurance, personal care, or a health concern
  • Wellbeing checks:Carrying out regular, non-intrusive checks to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe
  • Handovers:Communicating clearly with the day team to ensure continuity of care
