Peterborough United are seeking a Performance Analyst Intern for the upcoming 2026-27 season within it’s Women’s First Team.  The role is an expenses paid, voluntary role, in which a suitable candidate will gain valuable experience working within a professional football club environment, working with elite Women’s National League players and staff, in delivering Performance Analysis support for players and staff.

Competing in the Women’s National League Premier Division (3rd tier), Peterborough United Women operate as a Semi Professional provision with three contact sessions with players each week, including 2x pitch sessions, 1x classroom session and 1x structured gym session. 

  • Using Veo footage to clip match footage into relevant clips for use of the coaches and players
  • Providing relevant match statistics to coaching staff using game footage
  • Opportunities to provide additional individual player clips and potentially present these clips to players
  • Further work producing opposition analysis footage for use of coaching staff and players may become available

Experience and Qualifications

  • The candidate must be available to code all fixtures by 8pm Monday evening after a Sunday match.
  • Candidates must provide their own transport to Peterborough United when required – although working remotely for this role is possible.
  • The candidate must have strong communication skills and meet weekly deadlines set by coaching staff.
  • This role is an expenses paid internshipand students travel time and expenses will be covered.
  • Typical expenses covered are fuel costs, travel costs and any additional costs involved in the role
