Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a well-organised, reliable, and enthusiastic person to join our not-for-profit Team at Crossroads Care Charity.
· You will recruit, train and supervise a team of volunteers to support Crossroads Care Rotherham in specific carers projects across Rotherham, Doncaster and Sheffield as required.
· You will be responsible for delivering an accredited, high quality and reliable Volunteer services.
· This post will aim to improve the health and wellbeing, reduce symptoms of isolation and loneliness thus increasing confidence, wellbeing and independence for carers and volunteers.

Essential requirements:
· An understanding of the motivation and support needs of volunteers.
· Experience in supervising /managing people/volunteers
· A good organizer - managing time effectively and prioritizing issues
· Ability to handle a variety of issues simultaneously
· Ability to work on own initiative and manage priorities
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Knowledge of voluntary and statutory bodies
· Knowledge of carers and issues and what they face daily.
· An understanding of a person-centered approach and its impact on service quality
