Volunteer Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

We are recruiting a part-time Volunteer Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to join our small, driven team supporting young people aged 8-24, who are living through and beyond cancer.

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust is recruiting a Volunteer Coordinator to provide Maternity Cover for a 12 month period. The successful candidate will help support the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust’s growing volunteer community. They will help us achieve our goal of making our services accessible to every young person in the UK living with or beyond cancer and create the greatest possible impact for each young person we support.

This role offers experience across all areas of volunteer management. It includes supporting people who are interested in volunteering, helping new volunteers get started, making sure volunteers are prepared for trips, and providing administrative support to help deliver our new volunteer strategy.

No sailing experience or knowledge is required.

• 23 days (Pro-rata for part-time staff depending on hours worked and/or contract length) basic annual leave a year plus all English Bank Holidays.
