Salary: £28,000 per annum

Overview

We are recruiting a Volunteer Coordinator to join the team at Margaret Green Animal Rescue.

We’re looking for someone who will lead the coordination, engagement and onboarding of volunteering across the charity, working in partnership with our three animal rescue centres, eight charity shops and head office.

More than 200 volunteers already kindly give their time, and we rely heavily on their support to help us provide animal care, fulfil shop trading hours and deliver fundraising activities.

The role will involve building a single, coherent volunteering offer that is easy to join, well supported, legally sound and demonstrably valued, and that can grow in step with our charity’s 2026 to 2031 strategy.

As our Volunteer Coordinator, your normal hours of work with us will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends.
