Act as a key point of contact for volunteers, supporting enquiries, issues and engagement. Coach Volunteer & Community Champions, promote consistent volunteering standards and help deliver clear communications. Support volunteer onboarding, training and experience improvements using data and insight. Lead national corporate volunteering partnerships to ensure safe, consistent and value-adding activity.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Main contact for volunteers through their journey
  • Support onboarding, induction and training access
  • Deliver tasters/introductions and signpost development
  • Provide guidance and help resolve issues professionally
  • Ensure volunteer records and hours are accurately logged
  • Drive local volunteer recruitment and community engagement
  • Promote volunteering at events and with local partners
  • Facilitate corporate volunteering days and community opportunities
  • Collaborate with Fundraising to connect volunteers to activities
  • Maintain records, use digital systems and share insight

  • Experience of working with or supporting volunteers

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence handling confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to manage challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and occasional additional hours
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders

The role is subject to a Basic DBS check.
