Help keep our equipment bright and bouncy for our babies, children, young people and their families at Derian House! This much-loved sensory space is full of colour, movement, and soft balls – and it’s your mission to make sure it stays sparkling clean, safe, and ready for fun every week.

Our ball pool provides a rich sensory environment, supporting motor skills while engaging senses such as touch, sight, and movement all at once. By helping us maintain this special space, you'll play an important part in ensuring children can continue to enjoy safe, stimulating play experiences.

What you'll be doing:

Cleaning and sanitising all those colourful balls using our special equipment

Making sure equipment is used safely and correctly

Following infection prevention and control procedures (we take safety seriously!)

Reporting any damage or maintenance concerns

Helping the hospice stay welcoming, safe, and super clean

You'll love this role if you:

Have a passion for creating clean, welcoming environments that make a real difference for our babies, children, young people, and their families

Take pride in a job well done and enjoy seeing the results of your work

Like working as part of a small, friendly team - and it's even more fun if you volunteer with a buddy!

What's in it for you?

The joy of knowing you're making playtime safer, brighter, and happier!
