Visitor Information & Sales Assistant

About the Role
As a key member of our front-of-house team, you’ll play a vital role in creating memorable visitor experiences. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our guests—whether in person, over the phone, via email, or on social media—ensuring every interaction is warm, professional and informative.
You’ll also contribute to driving income by confidently promoting memberships, events, and experiences, while supporting essential administrative processes behind the scenes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Visitor Experience & Sales
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all visitors and members
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries across multiple channels
- Manage bookings for group and learning visits, including tours and catering
- Welcome group visitors and ensure a smooth, organised experience
- Identify opportunities to upsell events, activities, and experiences
Administration & CRM
- Accurately record and manage visitor enquiries and bookings
- Maintain high-quality data in our CRM system, ensuring GDPR compliance
- Support the coordination of group and learning bookings
Membership Engagement
- Welcome visitors at the Membership & Information Hut
- Promote memberships, events, and experiences with confidence
- Process memberships, renewals, and direct debits
- Support the delivery of member events and related administration
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a customer-facing role (visitor attraction, retail, hospitality or similar)
- A natural communicator with a friendly and approachable manner
- Confidence in sales and promoting products or experiences
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital communication tools
- A proactive, positive attitude with a team-focused mindset
