Vice Principal Kennington School

Kennington School is a new SEN school for children on the autism spectrum, opening September 2026. Due to growth in pupils on roll, we are recruiting a Vice Principal.

Responsibilities include:

• Smooth day-to-day operation of the school including student attendance, well-being and academic attainment.
• Supporting the Principal in the Vision and strategic growth of the school.

• Working with students, Parents, Governors and other Stakeholders.

The role would suit a candidate with significant academic and pastoral leadership experience at a Senior Leadership level with SEN experience. The successful candidate will be required to teach a portion of a timetable. The position offers an outstanding opportunity to have a significant impact on the future of Kennington School.

This is a permanent full-time term time role, 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday 08:30 to16:30 with a half hour paid break each day. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis. Closing date for applications 23
