Cumnor is an attractive village set in a conservation area 4 miles from the city of Oxford, on the edge of the Cotswolds. We are a community of three churches: St Michael’s, the parish church with 12th century origins, affectionately seen as a focus of the village; St Andrew’s in Dean Court, an area of modern housing developments, a recently rebuilt, eco-friendly space, and St Mary’s a tiny, cosy building rebuilt in the 1990’s in the hamlet of Farmoor.

We are seeking the person God is calling to work alongside us to:
•    inspire and deepen our spiritual lives through the guidance of the Holy Spirit
•    encourage and develop our enthusiasm for youth and children’s work
•    inspire our congregations, with vision and energy, to move forward as we seek to renew our lives as a Christian family together
•    be enthusiastic to engage with the community outside our churches, especially our CofE primary school
•    be able to work with different forms of church tradition

We can offer:
•    warm and loving congregations looking forward to working closely with our new Vicar to build our life together in the three churches
•    a supportive PCC and churchwardens who are enthusiastic to develop our life in the community as a Christian family
•    a passionate and dedicated Ministry Team comprising 5 Honorary Associate Ministers, a LLM and an Authorised Preacher
•    well-maintained church buildings, with excellent facilities, offering a great variety of spaces
•    a large, light and modern 4-bedroomed, detached vicarage in the heart of Cumnor
