Working Hours : This is a full-time role, covering 48hrs (4x12-hour shift pattern) per week

The Role:
The role of the uniformed Venue Operations Supervisor is to establish and ensure the effective provision of security and safety for the Allianz Stadium venue and its environs.
The role will be based at the stadium complex and work within a team that operates on a scheduled Rota, covering a 24-hour, 7 Day a week and 365 day a year period. The shift Rota requires 12-hour shifts to be performed from 07:00 to 19:00 and from 19:00 to 07:00 on a rolling 2 days, 2 night and 4 off basis.
The Venue Operations Supervisor will have responsibility for the line management of their shift team and the effective operational delivery of stadium venue operations.
The Venue Operations Supervisor will have sole responsibility for the venue operations out of hours. This role requires the individual to respond to all notifications for security services and first aid, operate all life support and security systems, maintain accurate logs and reports, follow processes and procedures and generally assure the safety and welfare of all staff and visitors across the venue.
The venue has a spectator capacity of 82,000 and the complex includes a 156-bedroom hotel (Raddison Red), a leisure club (TW2), extensive conference and banqueting facilities, a performing arts centre, a rugby store, office accommodation and the World Rugby Museum.
The Team:
The wider venue operations team consists of the core elements of stadium operations (Security, Safety, Facilities, Event planning and operations, Grounds and Office services), led by a Venue Operations Director, who line manages the Head of Venue Operations.
Some key responsibilities include:
Role specific responsibilities will include the supervision of their respective team and deployed casual staff:
- Providing first class customer service.
- Welcoming and assisting visitors, contractors and staff.
- Controlling and recording vehicular and pedestrian entry and exit.
- Conducting site patrols as scheduled via the Aware Manager System or any substitute system.
- Maintaining the secure integrity of the venue.
- Issue and return of keys and monitor their use and return.
- Monitoring of the CCTV system, reacting to all alarms, saving footage required for any investigation, packaging this future for sharing with approved subject access requests.
- Responding to incidents and emergencies.
- Conduct initial investigations and present findings.
- Report writing.
- Provide the overarching security supervision of all corporate events.
- Working as part of the event day team subject to qualifications and shift availability.
- Supervision of the reaction and reporting of all Health, Safety and Maintenance issues.
- Own the responsibility of being the Venue Operations out of hours lead representative.
- Provide operational support to and stand in for the Venue Operations Manager as required.
- Actively collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of the current strategic, business and operational plans.

- Undertake other duties as may be required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of the organisation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Essential:
- SIA Door Supervision (Mandatory).
- SIA CCTV Licence (Mandatory).
- First Aid at Work Qualified (3-day course).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- Fire Warden Trained and or experience.
- Effective communication skills.

Desirable:
- Hold a level 3 security and or supervisory qualification or be prepared to work to achieve this within the first year of employment.
- Experience of the supervision of a security control room (SCR) and its systems.
- Experience of supervising a team delivering excellent customer service.
- Line management of shift operations, their resourcing, scheduling and budgeting.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
