Self-Employed Van Driver
- Location :Manchester and surrounding areas
- Earnings :Circa £14,000 per annum
(set rate per journey based on distance and stock volume)
- Hours :Approximately 20 hours per week, flexible days
- Contract :Self-Employed
Are you an experienced Van Driver looking for flexible, part-time work that makes a real difference? The ExtraCare Charitable Trust is seeking a reliable self-employed Van Driver based in Manchester, with travel across Bolton, Stockport, Leyland and Preston.

Our Charity Shops play a vital role in funding care and wellbeing services across our locations. Every collection and delivery you complete helps support better lives for older people.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering and collecting stock between retail shops
- Completing multi-drop deliveries across the Manchester area
- Following pre-planned routes and delivery instructions
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Meeting delivery targets while maintaining excellent service standards
- Complying with all traffic laws and safety procedures
- Demonstrating basic vehicle controls where required
What we’re looking for
- Valid UK Category B Driving Licence
- Your own van with appropriate Business Insurance
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- Previous multi-drop experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with an active role
- Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
