Trustees

Soundabout, the UK's Learning Disability Music Charity, is recruiting Trustees! Help shape the future of Soundabout and make a difference through music!

Could you help shape Soundabout’s future?

At Soundabout, we believe that everyone should be able to access and experience music. As we approach our 30th anniversary in 2027, we’re looking ahead with excitement – and we’re seeking passionate, collaborative people to join our Board of Trustees and support our continued growth.
As a trustee, you’ll work alongside a diverse team of creative and committed individuals. You’ll help guide the charity’s direction, strengthen what we offer, expand our reach, and ensure our work remains firmly centred around our participants.

We’re particularly keen to hear from people with experience in charity law or health and safety.
We’re also keen to welcome individuals who believe in Soundabout’s mission and who represent the communities we serve – including Disabled people and / or those who support Learning Disabled people with complex needs.

Most importantly, we’d love to hear from anyone who feels their personal or professional experience can support our ongoing growth. Your insight, passion, and lived experience matter most and you don’t need previous trustee experience to apply (although this is welcomed too).

If you care about creating meaningful connections and supporting Learning Disabled people with complex needs to thrive through music, we’d love to hear from you.
