We are looking for Trustees who can use their knowledge, skills and lived or professional experience in the following areas:
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:- Knowledge/understanding of and a commitment to and enthusiasm for the Museum's work in supporting change and development in Wales through cultural participation;
- An understanding of the cultural sector and sensitivity to cultural issues in Wales;
- A commitment to equality and to challenging discriminatory practices.
- An understanding of the principles of good governance and appreciation of the cultural, economic and socio-political contexts in which Amgueddfa Cymru operates; and its obligations under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.
- A commitment to increasing diversity and promoting inclusion and equality, as well as widening access and engagement throughout Wales
- An ability to scrutinise and analyse complex information in order to support and challenge in a constructive manner.
- Experience of communicating effectively at all levels
- Have a commitment to Nolan's Seven Principles of Public Life
