Expect LTD are recruiting for Trustees that can expand our current board. The Trustees will help to shape the organisation at an exciting time in our development. What you will be doing? Trustees are asked to attend one board meeting every 2 months. This can be done either in person or via zoom. Trustees provide direction and oversight of the organisation, ensuring it complies with charity and company laws. Trustees are also responsible for monitoring the performance of the Chief Executive, ensuring that the organisation meets the objectives and charitable aims. Trustees will also ensure the financial stability of the organisation and the investment of charity funds. What are we looking for? We are specifically interested to hear from candidates with experience in Finance, HR, Health & Social Care, Legal Services or Commissioning but a good general business acumen would also be welcomed. Attitude is equally important as experience and we are looking for Trustees with either personal experience or a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities or those requiring mental health support. You must have a commitment to dedicating the time required to carry out the role and have a good strategic vision. An ability to be creative and willingness to speak your mind would also be welcomed. What differences will you make? We are looking for individuals with a background in Finance, HR, Legal Services or Commissioning to augment the skillsets of the current trustees.
