Role of the Trustee: Sussex Cricket Foundation
Sussex Cricket Foundation (SCF) supports grass-roots cricket in all its forms across East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.
Its mission is that everyone in Sussex has the opportunity to play, experience and enjoy cricket, regardless of background or circumstances. Its vision is to make a difference to lives by improving access to and participation in cricket, by engaging and supporting local communities, clubs and schools.
SCF uses the power of cricket to bring about change to its local communities. Its focus is to ensure cricket is for everyone. It is responsible for the Sussex Cricket league and provides programmes for women and girls, those with a disability, walking cricket, street cricket and bringing older people together through sporting memories.
In 2026 it launched a ground-breaking programme for State School cricket across the county.
