We're seeking an individual from a Fusion21 member organisation with experience, expertise and more importantly, a passion for social enterprise, social impact and making a positive difference in the communities we work in.

We're looking for someone who brings strong networking skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues, and a track record of sound judgement and effective decision‑making.

We recognise the considerable diverse talent within our membership and want this to be reflected in our Trustee roles. A broader range of perspectives will help strengthen our work and increase our impact.

As part of our commitment to developing future leaders, the successful candidate will be offered a professional development opportunity. In partnership with Housing Diversity Network, our new Trustee will take part in the HDN Board Accelerator Programme, a 12‑month strategic development programme. Further information about the programme will be provided in the information video referenced below.

Key Duties

The Trustee will be responsible for:

• Championing their area of expertise and helping ensure the organisation pursues its objectives as set out in its governing document.
• Contributing actively to the Board’s strategic direction: setting overall policy, defining goals and targets, and reviewing performance against those targets.
• Safeguarding the name, values, and financial stability of the Fusion21 Foundation.
