Step Into the Spotlight as one of our Trustees!
At the Belgrade, we know a strong, effective and inclusive board leads to good governance. We are looking for a Trustee who shares our passion for the arts and its ability to change lives for the better.
Our 17-strong board draws on its members’ wide-ranging knowledge, skills, experience and, importantly, contacts to provide strategic and occasionally operational guidance for the organisation, and to advocate for the Belgrade, helping us to become a stage for Coventry.
Salary: Voluntary position
Hours: Part-time
Interview Dates: Fri 27 Mar or w/c Mon 30 Mar 2026
Location: Coventry

Key Objectives
As the Trustees of the charity also act as Directors of the company, they have legal, and financial obligations under company law and in compliance with charity legislation.
These include:
- Complying with your charity’s governing document and the law
- Ensuring that your charity is carrying out its purpose for the public benefit
- Acting in the charity’s best interests
- Managing your charity’s resources responsibly
- Acting with reasonable care and skill
- Ensuring your charity is accountable
