Location: At designated locations as required. National travel.
Salary: £65,000 plus Car Allowance plus up to 10% Management Stakeholder Bonus
Hours: 35 Hours per week

MAIN PURPOSE
- To lead and deliver strategic change initiatives to enhance the quality, performance and sustainability of brain injury rehabilitation and complex care services as directed by the Director of Operations.
- To work closely with a range of stakeholders including the Service Managers, operational and clinical teams to redesign services, embed best practices and achieve measurable outcomes in care quality, financial efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- To lead projects as directed associated with transformation and change in services to drive service improvement ensuring compliance with regulatory standards e.g CQC.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Transformation & Project Management
- Lead high-impact transformation projects to improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability within agreed timescales and in line with budget.
- Develop and implement service redesign initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
- Use data-driven approaches to identify areas for improvement and monitor progress.
- Identify potential obstacles to change and developing strategies to mitigate them is crucial for successful implementation.
- Promoting a Culture of Continuous Improvement. Responsible for encouraging staff to embrace new ideas and approaches to service delivery.
Clinical & Operational Leadership
- Provide expert clinical guidance to ensure services meet evidence-based standards.
- Support service managers with CQC preparedness, inspections, and action plans.
- Oversee the development of policies, protocols, and clinical pathways to enhance care delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert on brain injury rehab and complex care.
- Build buy-in and support from staff, ensuring they understand the changes and are empowered to embrace them.
- Use initiative to identify issues and Develop solutions to issues and problems to ensure effective delivery of the service
- Manage competing priorities, ensuring consistency of approach, with a key focus on delivery and quality.
- Provide written and verbal reports on activity to the leadership team, other stakeholders, as required.
Quality & Performance Improvement
- Design and embed quality assurance frameworks including audits, KPIs, and risk management systems.
- Lead initiatives to reduce incidents, improve safeguarding, and enhance patient safety.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build relationships with external partners (e.g. NHS, local authorities, CQC).
- Drive initiatives that support regulatory compliance e.g CQC.
- Drive quality improvement whilst balancing financial efficiencies without compromising care.
- Chair and manage meetings as required, including agenda planning and preparation
ABOUT YOU:
Essential Criteria
Education & Qualifications
- QCF (NVQ) level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent relevant qualification
- Current clean driving licence.
Experience
- In depth knowledge of statutory requirements Legislation and outcomes
- Experience and understanding of what constitutes a high quality specific residential service.
- Understanding of the current challenges facing the sector, both locally and nationally.
- Of communicating appropriately with a wide range of people, through a variety of different methods and influencing views and behaviour to meet objectives.
- Significant, relevant experience of leading and managing projects and change initiatives involving partnership working across a variety of disciplines and professions.
- Experience of using quality measures e.g. internal/external audits and experience of making improvements associated with such measures.
- Experience of managing complex and diverse health or social care services
- Experience of implementing organisational policy and procedure, including the ability to contribute to the development of local procedures where necessary.
- Experience of communicating appropriately with a wide range of people, through a variety of different methods and influencing views and behaviour to meet objectives.
- Experience of managing budgets and financial systems.
