About the Role
The training team are responsible for the creation and delivery of training across County Durham to professionals as well as anyone who lives in the County. We offer a wide ranging programme of learning, as well as a comprehensive offer of training to all schools and colleges in the County.
The successful candidate would be expected to be flexible and capable of delivering to a wide range of audiences, ranging from children to adults.
This is an exciting opportunity which allows for a vast array of development and learning opportunities due to the ever-changing landscape of drugs and alcohol issues/needs.
What You’ll Do
Develop a comprehensive range of training and development resources using a range of formats and media tailored to the unique learning and development needs of different audiences.
Deliver training on drug and alcohol awareness, recovery, risk taking behaviour and the early identification, assessment of drug and alcohol treatment needs, including brief and extended brief interventions.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
Recognised teaching or training qualification - NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage the audience.
