About the role
Are you passionate about helping others take control of their finances? Do you enjoy learning new skills and developing expertise while making a real difference in people’s lives?
We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Money Advice Caseworker. In this vital role, you’ll undertake accredited training to deliver money and debt advice through casework, phone and email and liaise with third parties on behalf of clients. A key focus will be supporting clients to maximise their income, for example by claiming appropriate benefits and helping them resolve financial difficulties.
You’ll need to be organised, motivated and able to manage a varied caseload while meeting targets and deadlines. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of interviewing clients sensitively and maintaining accurate, detailed case records. You should also be comfortable learning independently, seeking support when needed and applying new knowledge to your work.
The role is based at your preferred North Yorkshire office: Harrogate, Malton, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough or Selby.
Reserved interview dates: 8-9 September 2026
