JOB ADVERTISEMENT Role: Trainee Advisor Salary: Salary in line with London Living Wage Hours: 35 hpw (Part time 17.5 hpw roles will be considered) Contract: 10 months Fixed Term We are very excited to advertise a new Trainee Advisor role in cooperation with the Asian Resource Centre for Communities (ARCC). This brand-new post is an opportunity for someone who seeks a career in the advice sector and is willing to commit and fully participate in the training and work experience. About the role: The successful applicant will follow a prescribed Citizens Advice training pathway; training that will prepare them to support residents of Croydon with a range of problems across English Civil Law – predominantly welfare benefits, debt, housing and employment. With the aid of the Asian Resource Centre for Communities we are looking to recruit someone from within the communities supported by them and who ultimately, once the level of appropriate competencies has been reached, will undertake some community-based advice work within the communities supported by the ARCC.
