A fantastic apprenticeship opportunity has arisen to join our busy ticketing team. We are proud, ambitious and looking for an apprentice who loves working with customers, whether that be face to face in our ticket office, over the phone or through our busy online systems. This will really kick start your career in business admin and customer services.

The Ticketing Administrator is the first point of contact for supporters purchasing match/event tickets, season tickets and memberships. You will deliver a fast, professional, and welcoming customer experience in person, by phone, and through digital channels, while supporting the wider commercial objectives of the club.

  • Serve supporters in person and by phone, selling match/event tickets, season tickets and memberships to ensure a fast and effective customer experience
  • Staff ticket windows and collection point on matchdays and during peak sales periods
  • Handle all customer enquiries, complaints, refunds, and exchanges professionally and promptly
  • Advise supporters on upcoming fixtures, ticket availability, and other club products or promotions as required
  • Identify and execute all sales and upselling opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring data is inputted correctly at source
  • Work effectively and positively with colleagues across all departments
  • Champion and uphold the club’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, promoting a zero-tolerance approach to bullying, harassment, and victimisation
  • Demonstrate a commitment to PUFC’s safeguarding policy and report any concerns to a senior colleague immediately
  • Ensure compliance with EFL and FA regulations, and relevant legislation including health and safety, equality, and data protection
  • Work within club processes across Commercial, Finance, Operations and Marketing, seeking guidance where required
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required
  • Act as an ambassador for PUFC, ensuring conduct reflects the club’s values at all times
  • Fully IT literate in Microsoft Office – specifically excel, online portals and outlook.
  • GCSE’s to include a minimum of Maths and English GCSE C/4
  • Experience or ability of working in a busy customer-facing role
  • Experience in a sport, entertainment, or events environment (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone, with strong listening ability
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive, organised, and methodical, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Enthusiasm and drive to learn, develop, and build relationships across the club
  • Commitment to promoting and adhering to the club’s Equality Policy
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
