Theatres Technical Coordinator, permanent, full time (40 hours per week, averaged over a 17 week reference period), £34,200.00 per annum, plus staff benefits

Lowry is a visual and performing arts venue situated at the heart of MediaCityUK in Salford, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Theatres Technical Coordinator to join our Theatres Technical Department. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical coordination support across Lowry’s theatre spaces, working closely with the Technical team and reporting to the Head of Technical Theatre.

Applicants must have at least five years’ experience in a comparable role within a receiving or producing theatre environment, along with a thorough working knowledge of current health and safety legislation.

Candidates should be confident using IT systems and standard office software, and able to manage competing priorities while working effectively to tight deadlines and within agreed budgets.

We are looking for a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, a commitment to delivering a friendly and professional service, and a proactive approach to ongoing personal development.

Please note that this role is ​40 hours per week (averaged over a 17 week reference period). You will be required to work on a flexible rota pattern, which includes working weekends, bank holidays and evenings where required.
