Bristol Beacon is the South West’s largest concert hall, promoting musical excellence, creative learning, and community engagement. Our concert halls and Music Education Centre are central to our mission of uniting people through the joy of live music.

Join the Technical Team at Bristol Beacon and help deliver high-quality lighting, sound, and AV production for a diverse range of live events, from concerts and comedy to community and education programs.

As a Technician, you’ll set up and operate technical equipment, maintain and repair production gear, ensure compliance with safety standards, and provide excellent service to artists, clients, and audiences. Working in a dynamic environment, you’ll be part of a team that thrives on innovation, professionalism, and technical excellence.

Essential:

  • Minimum two years’ professional technical experience in live events

Evening, weekend, and bank holiday shifts are required.

If you’re a skilled live events technician who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, we’d love to hear from you.

We reserve the right to close applications a week before the deadline if a suitable number of applications are received.

Diversifying our workforce

We are committed to developing a more diverse workforce through applicants with the skills and experience to help us to widen our perspective and better serve the needs of our communities.

We particularly encourage applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.
