Team Vicar - Abingdon-on-Thames Benefice

This welcoming town parish consists of three churches with active and enthusiastic congregations and PCC. We are praying for a Team Vicar with a deep, reflective personal faith who will:

•    Work collaboratively and creatively with our Team Rector, Wardens, and Congregations in nurturing our congregations and developing and implementing a vision for the future
•    Commit to pastoral care for all
•    Embrace the distinctiveness of our three churches
•    Foster growth, including identifying and encouraging the gifts of others
•    Be a visible and approachable presence in our congregations and the wider community

We offer committed congregations, a supportive Team Rector, DCCs and PCC, and opportunities to develop your ministerial gifts and skills. The detached four-bedroom vicarage is situated within walking distance of the town centre and all our churches. Abingdon offers excellent local schools and amenities, and good transport links to Oxford and beyond.
