Team Leader

Adult Services - The Beehive - Therapy and Activity Centre

We are looking for two new Team Leaders at The Beehive. Are you passionate about making a difference in someone’s life? This vital role involves empowering and guiding our dedicated Support Workers to deliver exceptional support.

What will you be doing?

  • To act as a role model for the team. Promoting the organisations values.

  • Provide an in-depth induction for new staff and support them through obtaining their care certificate and probation

  • Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback to staff.

  • Promote safeguarding and best practise throughout your day.

  • Ensure personal and intimate care (regulated activity) received by the people we support is always respectful and upholds the person’s dignity.

  • Conduct risk assessments when required

  • Responsible for opening and closing the centre or delegating this task

  • Ensure all staff are trained to the required standard

  • Support individuals in the event of staff shortages

  • Maintain the people we support records to a high standard

  • Be the main point of contact in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager

What are we looking for?

  • An organised individual with strong leadership skills

  • Person centred approach

  • Pro-active and compassionate nature

  • Full, UK Manual Driving License and use of own vehicle for business use

  • Numeracy and Literacy Skills

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care– It is not essential to hold this qualification but you must be willing to work towards it with our support
