About the role
This role will play a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening the reach of Citizens Advice Wigan Borough (CAWB) within the community. The post holder will lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality advice services, while supporting our community engagement strategy.
This includes recruiting and inducting outreach volunteers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge they need to work independently, developing relationships with local partners, and delivering capacity-building training to equip external organisations to identify and signpost or refer residents in need.
The post holder will undertake quality reviews, monitor performance against KPIs utilising a variety of performance monitoring tools, responding quickly and effectively to areas of concern, and provide reports to the management team.
Some advice cover will also be required on occasion.
