About the Role

As a Team Leader at HAGA, you will play a key role in managing a team of Recovery Practitioners within our Alcohol Service. You will support the Services Manager in delivering high-quality services, monitoring performance, and improving processes to ensure contractual requirements and KPIs are met.

You will lead and motivate a team of Recovery Coordinators, ensuring service users receive the highest standard of care and support throughout their recovery journey.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage, mentor, and coach staff members and volunteers, supporting their professional development.

  • Oversee a team of Recovery Coordinators and ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing written and verbal updates when required.

  • Support service development by actively engaging service users in service design and delivery improvements.

  • Ensure services are inclusive and accessible, with particular attention to underrepresented groups.

  • Work closely with the Services Manager to monitor performance and ensure service KPIs are met.

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:

We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised, and passionate about supporting people affected by alcohol dependency.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working within the

    drug and alcohol sector.
  • Experience managing a

    caseload.
  • Experience

    leading or supervising a small team.
  • Strong

    IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
