Teacher of Spanish (KS2 and KS3) – To start September 2026 – Fixed term contract for 1 year
Overview of Role
As part of our transition to becoming a co-educational school throughout – Duchy College from September 2026, Harrogate Ladies’ College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish Teacher from September 2026 to teach across Key Stages 2 and 3. The Role
We are looking for a teacher who can:
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality Spanish lessons across KS2 (years 5 and 6) with some KS3 teaching.
- Inspire a love of language learning in younger pupils
- Build confidence through creative approaches to teaching
- Contribute to the wider life of our vibrant school community
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive MFL team
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have relevant teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent)
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Spanish language and culture
- Bring energy, warmth, and creativity to the classroom
- Set high expectations for all pupils
- Be committed to continuous professional development
