Dragon School has an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Physical Education & Sport to join the team.
The Dragon School seeks to appoint a dynamic, well qualified and inspirational Teacher of Physical Education & Sport to teach pupils aged 5–13 (Years 1– 8). The successful candidate will contribute fully to the sporting life of this energetic, forward-thinking prep school, which values both sport for all and sporting excellence, and where numerous pupils
progress to senior schools with sports scholarships.
The role is suitable for:
Teachers with experience in prep, primary, or secondary P.E.
Early career teachers with strong coaching backgrounds.
Teachers with expertise in netball, rugby, or cricket, which is desirable.
The PE & Sport Department is well resourced, innovative and committed to delivering a curriculum that reflects best practice and current developments in Physical Education. Pupils aged 6–13 enjoy a broad
programme that emphasises physical literacy, teamwork, enjoyment, resilience, and ambition, reflecting the very best prep school models.All staff at the Dragon contribute to the school’s rich extracurricular programme and play a part in thewider life of this busy, thriving community. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will also lead a sport (netball, cricket or rugby, depending on the level of experience).
