Brentwood Prep School is an academically selective HMC co-educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. It is part of Brentwood School, a 3-18 HMC school of 1900 pupils, just 35 minutes from London Liverpool Street.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join our high-performing and superbly resourced Prep School for a one-year contract. The Prep educates pupils aged 3–11 and is the largest tied house Prep School in the country. Sport plays a central role in school life, with a well-developed PE curriculum focused on building strong Fundamental Movement Skills from EYFS and a thriving Games programme offering fixtures and tournaments from Year 3.

Brentwood School supports an ambitious vision for sport, providing high-quality opportunities for all pupils within a clear 3–18 pathway that is innovative, progressive and evidence-based. Our programme promotes student health, a lifelong commitment to sport and physical activity, and a strong national reputation for sporting excellence.

The Prep School is also transitioning to the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), placing pupils at the heart of their learning. The successful candidate will contribute to an engaging PE curriculum, support team training and fixtures, and play an active role in the wider Games programme, including Saturday sport in the Senior School.
