Millfield Prep School is seeking an inspiring and dynamic Head of Art to join the school from September 2026. Set within 200 acres of beautiful Somerset countryside, Millfield Prep is an independent day and boarding school for pupils aged 2–13, renowned for its outstanding all‑round education and commitment to discovering brilliance in every child.
The successful candidate will lead the Art Department from Pre‑Prep to Year 8, shaping a vibrant, creative and inclusive curriculum that reflects Millfield’s educational philosophy. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the department, delivering high‑quality teaching, inspiring pupils of all abilities and fostering a lifelong love of art. Working closely with colleagues and senior leaders, you will promote excellence in teaching and learning, oversee enrichment opportunities, exhibitions and trips, and ensure Art continues to play a significant and celebrated role within the life of the school.

MILLFIELD Enterprises Temporary JOB VACANCIES
Millfield Enterprises is the commercial arm of Millfield School. We recruit temporary staff aged 18 or over, who are eligible to work in the UK, to support a variety of Millfield Enterprises holiday courses. Roles include pastoral and locum duties, as well as sports coaching positions.
