Teacher of KS4 and KS5 Mathematics - September 2026

An exciting opportunity has opened up to join an enthusiastic and dedicated staff team in a small but growing independent school with an excellent reputation. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented teacher of Mathematics in KS4 and KS5 with some teaching in KS3 a possibility. They will also lead KS4 and KS5 Mathematics. Maths is one of the most popular options at A level. The post is full time.

The role:

• Teaching Mathematics in KS4 and KS5

• Leading KS4 and KS5 Mathematics

• Teaching some Mathematics in KS3 if required

• Planning and delivering well structured lessons and ensuring that high standards of engagement are maintained in the classroom

• Suggesting and implementing strategies to improve engagement and progress

• Implementing the school’s strategic vision for Maths, through long, medium and short term planning and further developing appropriate schemes of learning and resources.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a graduate with a relevant good honours degree

• Be a creative, innovative and dedicated teacher with a real passion for your subject

• Have a commitment to embracing challenges and raising pupil attainment

• Have an exceptional eye for detail

• Have experience in either the private or maintained sector
