An exciting opportunity has opened up to join an enthusiastic and dedicated staff team in a small but growing independent school with an excellent reputation. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented teacher of Mathematics in KS4 and KS5 with some teaching in KS3 a possibility. They will also lead KS4 and KS5 Mathematics. Maths is one of the most popular options at A level. The post is full time.
The role:

Teaching Mathematics in KS4 and KS5
-
Leading KS4 and KS5 Mathematics
-
Teaching some Mathematics in KS3 if required

Planning and delivering well structured lessons and ensuring that high standards of engagement are maintained in the classroom

Suggesting and implementing strategies to improve engagement and progress

Implementing the school’s strategic vision for Maths, through long, medium and short term planning and further developing appropriate schemes of learning and resources.
The successful candidate will:

Be a graduate with a relevant good honours degree

Be a creative, innovative and dedicated teacher with a real passion for your subject

Have a commitment to embracing challenges and raising pupil attainment

Have an exceptional eye for detail

Have experience in either the private or maintained sector
