We are seeking to appoint a part-time (0.6 FTE) Teacher of English to work in our Senior School from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach English Literature and English Language across our Senior School including GCSE and A level classes.

Salary: The salary will be in the region of £19,336.68 – £26,641.43 per annum, (FTE £32,227.80 – £44,402.39) depending on relevant skills and qualifications. Hours of work:

0.6 FTE

Newcastle School for Boys is an independent day school located in the heart of Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. From September 2026, we begin a new and exciting chapter, becoming The Newcastle School and welcoming girls into our community for the first time; building on the legacy of Newcastle School for Boys.
