The King’s School, Canterbury is seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Economics to join our thriving and collaborative Economics and Business Department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach highly motivated Sixth Form students in a school renowned for academic excellence, strong pastoral care and a rich co-curricular programme.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging A level Economics teaching (Edexcel) and may contribute to BTEC Business. Economics is a popular subject at King’s, with over 150 students and consistently strong results, supported by small class sizes, excellent resources and a culture of intellectual curiosity. Beyond the classroom, the department runs a vibrant super-curricular programme including the Economics Society, essay competitions, visiting speakers, and international and UK study trips.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers, ECTs and outstanding graduates with a strong academic background in Economics or a related discipline. A commitment to the wider life of a full boarding and day school is essential, including pastoral involvement and co-curricular contribution.
