The Department

Economics is a very successful, well-regarded and extremely popular subjects at A level. For several

number of our students continue with related studies at university.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational professional to join a growing and forward-looking

We aim to increase awareness of Economics throughout the school and pass on our passion for the

encouraged and appropriate initiatives are welcomed. The department is well resourced with
textbooks and ICT equipment enabling it to provide a dynamic teaching environment.

The Syllabus

The Department currently follows Edexcel’s Level 3 Advanced GCE in Economics A. The structure of
this specification allows members of the department to share the delivery of both Year 1 and Year 2
