We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama teacher to deliver outstanding teaching across Drama and Theatre Studies at Wells Cathedral School. The successful candidate will inspire pupils across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, support excellent academic achievement, and contribute to the continued development of a vibrant and ambitious Drama provision.
The role will include teaching across a range of year groups, with a particular focus on GCSE and A Level Drama and Theatre, alongside the administration of coursework, practical assessments, moderation, and examination processes. Working collaboratively within a supportive department, you will help pupils develop their performance, creative and analytical skills while guiding them towards higher education, drama school, and other future pathways.
In addition to curriculum teaching, the successful candidate will be encouraged to contribute to the wider life of the department through productions, performances, clubs, and other co-curricular opportunities, helping to foster a culture of creativity and artistic excellence throughout the school.
