We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Design Technology to join us from
September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The Design Technology Department is a thriving
and successful one. It is housed in a new state-of-the-art Design Technology Centre, fitted with a
metalwork shop, a polymer workshop (including a fleet of 3D printers, a CNC machinery and a laser
cutter), a woodwork shop and our 21st Century library, research and design facility.

Each year the department encourages all students in Years 7 to 9 with extended design-make activities
as well as preparing students for a GCSE in Resistant Materials and A Level in Product Design which
leads many to go on to study for degrees in Engineering, Product Design and Architecture.

About You
The ideal candidate will have outstanding specialist subject knowledge. Students in Years 10 and 11

for exams. You will contribute to the co-curricular offerings of the departments and the wider life of the
School, to which your energy, warmth and pastoral instincts will lend themselves.
