TEACHER OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS
Full-time or Part-time (minimum of 0.8FTE)

We  have  a  wonderful  opportunity  for  an  enthusiastic  and  inspiring  Economics  and  Business
teacher with outstanding subject knowledge in this excellent department. You will teach the A level
Edexcel syllabus.

About You
The ideal candidate will have energy, drive, and great ideas, whether as an experienced teacher
of Economics, or an able NQT or career changer looking to train as a teacher who can meet the
demands of a thriving department and ambitious pupils.

It will be an advantage if you can teach on both our Business and Economics A level courses.

Our teachers seek to encourage both class and individual study beyond the requirements of the
curriculum.  You will be expected to contribute to the co-curricular offerings of the department and
the  wider  life  of  the  School,  to  which  your  energy,  warmth  and  pastoral  instincts  will  lend
themselves.  The School provides a stimulating and vibrant environment  in which to teach, and
you will join a highly committed and enthusiastic academic team.

Our School
Founded in 1646, Reading Blue Coat is a leading independent day school of circa 800 pupils
from ages 11 to 18. The School is located on a beautiful 46-acre campus in the village of
Sonning, just outside Reading.
