The King’s School, Canterbury is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Biology to join our thriving Science Department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach motivated pupils in one of the UK’s leading independent schools, located in the historic Cathedral Precincts in the heart of Canterbury.

Biology is a popular and academically successful subject at King’s, taught by a team of specialist teachers who share a passion for inspiring curiosity and intellectual exploration. Pupils study Biology from Year 9 through to IGCSE and A level, achieving excellent results and frequently progressing to leading universities and medical courses.

The successful candidate will teach Biology across the age range of 13–18, contribute to the rich super-curricular life of the department, and play a full role in the pastoral and co-curricular life of the School.
