Brentwood Prep School is an academically selective HMC co-educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. It is part of Brentwood School, a 3-18 HMC school of 1900 pupils, just 35 minutes from London Liverpool Street.
We are seeking an outstanding Teacher (EYFS Specialist/Prep) to join our nurturing school community. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, Development Matters and observation-based assessment, with experience in early literacy, phonics and maths. They will plan engaging, child-centred learning that secures high standards of achievement and behaviour.
In the Prep School, the role includes delivering inspiring lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, contributing to the IB PYP and wider curriculum, and supporting pupils’ academic and pastoral development. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues and parents and contribute to co-curricular and school events.
We are looking for a passionate, reflective practitioner with excellent communication skills, integrity, warmth and resilience. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a full role in a thriving Prep School community.
