About the role:
The Supporter Engagement Individual Giving Team is responsible for recruiting new individual supporters and maximising relationships with existing supporters to optimise income through a range of direct and digital marketing activity.
An essential aspect of the role is supporting the development of a holistic organisation wide approach to audience data collection and supporter engagement to grow the supporter base.
The post-holder will lead on a variety of projects including direct mail, email, digital, and telephone campaigns.
About you:
• Experience of leading the development of process improvement across teams.
• Experience of managing external agency relationships
• Experience of working with databases (Raisers Edge experience preferable)
• Interpersonal skills – experience of working within a team (ideally across multiple teams), customer service. • Experience of working with third party suppliers and managing relationships
• Experience of leading the development of compelling marketing materials and copy for print, web and social media.
Essential Criteria
• Experience of Individual Giving fundraising or transferable experience
• Experience of autonomously leading supporter stewardship and retention projects
• Experience of leading either lottery or regular giving fundraising
• Experience of planning data gathering and journey development based on data segmentation using a test and learn approach.
• Strong ability to think innovatively to improve supporter experience and make processes more efficient.
• Strong ability to be proactive is developing new ideas and looking for continuous improvement. • Able to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages with advanced Excel experience
