The vacancy
Working Pattern: 22.5 hours per week working 3 days (to include Monday and Tuesday)
Contract Type: Fixed Term – 6 months starting April 2026

Location: the role will be based in our temporary Fundraising office (Ipswich) with hybrid working
East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) is looking for a compassionate and organised Supporter Care Officer to join our Fundraising Directorate. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional supporter experiences and making a meaningful impact in the lives of children, young people, and families across East Anglia.
As the first point of contact for our supporters, you’ll provide outstanding customer service across phone, email, and web enquiries. You’ll ensure every interaction is handled with gratitude, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to supporter enquiries and processing donations
- Maintaining accurate data on our fundraising database
- Writing supporter communications
- Supporting complaint resolution and complex queries
- Assisting with reporting and charity platform oversight
- Collaborating across teams to enhance the supporter journey
Do you have:
- Experience in customer service and database usage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Are you:
- Highly organised and able to manage a varied workload
- Calm, empathetic, and professional in interactions
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and experienced in data entry
