Support Worker - PBS & Autism Support (3519)

We have an exciting opportunity for a PBM and Autism Support Worker to join our 
dedicated team in the Cwmfelinfach. In this role, you will support people to build 
relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community – so that they can live 
good lives.
You are not required to hold a full UK driving license for this role.
I am a 40-year-old man I live in a small village called Cwmfelinfach, now I live alone. 
I am looking for a support worker to support me with day-to-day tasks around the 
bungalow and to support me to access the wider community using my own vehicle.
I love to listen to music, I have a wide range of preferences, but my preference is “boy 
bands” I also love listening to audiobooks, my favourite are any stories written by Julia 
Donaldson. I like to be involved in all aspects of the daily tasks around my home which 
i like to be kept clean and clutter free.
I will need you to support me with my personal care, and all aspects of keeping my 
home clean and clutter free and engaging with me in sensory activities.
I am looking for someone who is confident, likes to sing, likes going for walks, and can 
ride a bike.

What You'll Do
As a Support Worker, you will:
• Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live 
good lives.
• Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and 
maintaining routines.
• Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, 
and their community.
• Work alongside professionals such as social workers, nurses, and 
occupational therapists to ensure people receive the best support.
• Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about 
their lives.
