Temporary Female Support Worker (Nightshift)
Join the team at QVSLI (Phase 1) as a Temporary Female Support Worker (Nightshift) in Quarriers Village Supported Living (Phase 1). Deliver high-quality, person-centred support throughout the night, ensuring the privacy, safety, and comfort of service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight support to individuals in a supported living environment
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and dignity at all times
- Support with personal care and practical tasks as required
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records and nightly handovers
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
- Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety procedures
- Foster a warm and inclusive environment for all residents
Required Qualifications:
- Compassionate, values-led approach to support work
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently overnight
- Experience delivering respectful, person-centred care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Flexibility to work full-time night shifts (39 hours per week)
- Female, in accordance with genuine occupational requirements
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in supported living or a similar care environment
Benefits:
Temporary full-time contract (39 hours/week, maternity cover). Premium rate of £14.43 per hour paid for hours worked between midnight and 7am. Supportive working environment in Quarriers Village Supported Living.
