About the service

Finglassie comprises two purpose-built 4-bedroom semi-detached bungalows. Each home features:

  • Spacious shared kitchen and lounge areas for meals, activities and socialising
  • Private bedrooms with adapted bathrooms for each person supported

We support individuals with a range of complex needs, including:

  • Learning disabilities
  • Sensory impairments (hearing and vision)
  • Epilepsy
  • Congenital rubella syndrome
  • Behaviours that challenge

Each person has a bespoke, person-centred support plan, and our team provides 24/7 support to help them achieve their personal goals and live the life they choose.

This is a vibrant, fun and active service where the people we support enjoy a wide variety of activities, including:

  • Swimming sessions at the warm pool
  • Bowling, cinema trips and train journeys
  • Festivals, gigs and local events
  • Days out to Fife Zoo and the Deer Park
  • Holidays away and day trips
  • Karaoke, discos and games nights
  • Arts, crafts, pampering and relaxation sessions

Drivers are preferred to help support the people we work with to access their communities. If this sounds like fun—it is! And you could be part of it.

What you’ll do

As part of our team, you’ll:

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to each individual
  • Support people to access activities, hobbies and their community
  • Help with daily living tasks and personal care
  • Build meaningful relationships and promote independence
